The Greater Susquehanna Valley Penn State Chapter actively participates in several community service activities throughout the year.
The chapter is a twenty-five (25) year participant in the Pennsylvania State Adopt-A-Highway program, maintaining a stretch of Rt 45 on the way to Penn State.- Every holiday season chapter members donate Christmas gifts to the Women in Transition shelter of Union County. This past Christmas season, chapter members donated over $600.00 worth of children’s gifts to under privileged families benefiting from the Women in Transition program.
- Chapter members have volunteered time at the Children’s Miracle Network Telethon and have participated in the Women in Transition auction.
